The figure conscious society is growing more and more aggressive and so people try whatever slimming stuff is offered in the market. Food supplements and exercise materials are most common products sold for slimming but never clothes. Clothes are actually used to measure once slimness. But in reality, clothes can help in creating a slim look.
People who may not fit in the slim category typically choose clothes that have less exposure on the arms like long sleeves or cardigans. But clothes can be designed in such a way that they can create the desired illusions such as looking tall and slim. And for a top, the same design rule applies.
To look slim with a top, the key things to remember are the color, sleeve and neckline. This also applies even to the ever challenging sleeveless tops. This idea is actually great for ladies who are working their way to slimmer bodies. While waiting for the slimming supplements and workout to pay off, exercising consciousness on the neckline and sleeves of tops will really help. Horizontally wide and shallow necklines definitely do not help. Instead, select the ones that are narrow and deep. In this way, the breadth of the chest will not be exposed. Also, make sure that the color is of the darker shade because that has slimming effects on the body’s figure. Lastly, the sleeves can be a powerful slimming feature. Sleeveless tops with narrow, deep necklines and contoured short sleeves are really good alternatives. Just make sure that the color of the contour blends and/or complements the color of your arm so that it will not have an emphasis effect, instead it will give out a slimming effect.
